Sandie………
Born in the mid 1950’s I had what I would consider the privileged life of growing up on a farm in the South West of England. My playground became open fields and meadows, enriched by flowing streams, magical woodlands and hedged boundaries. It consistently provided me with a welcome escape from the land’s ritualistic cycle of chores and seemingly archaic practices
Eventually, after marriage and three children, our family moved to the outskirts of Perth, in Western Australia. Where I seem to have journeyed on the great roller coaster ride, called life.
Working as a Primary School Library Officer for ten years, I discovered a passion to see the next generation of readers aspire to greater reading habits and try my hand at a little creative writing.
Currently my focus has been to work in admin’ on a voluntary basis, where I manage a small Church based library and promote a Christian writers group.
